Operation departments need to translate these objects into actionable goals and identify problems and opportunities for improvement. There is a need to establish measures to assess the performance of the operations so that the process owners can drive improvement initiatives at the workplace.
The process owners need to be able to identify problems and improvement opportunities so that they can apply scientific methodologies and tools to develop and implement improvement initiatives at the workplace. People at the workplace need to collaborate in small groups to apply innovative problem solving methodologies, understand the roles of various stakeholders and overcome team dynamic issues during the improvement process. The course will allow the learning of time-tested innovative 8D problem solving methodology and tools to assist non-profit organisations in their drive towards higher performance.
