The main purpose and objectives of most organisations, if not all, are about serving the needs of individuals and communities. ‘Service’ is the main driving force and the foundation of what businesses or even non-profits are about. In order to stay focused on the objective to truly serve, leaders need to identify and work towards building a foundation of what a ‘service’ organization is.

  • Apply concepts learnt to case-studies and their own organisation
  • Write an Action Plan to build a Service Culture within organisation

Course Facilitator

Dr John K E Tan

With over 30 years of experience in the youth work sector, Mr John Tan has been actively involved in all aspects pertaining youth development, including founding the Youth Work Association Singapore, as well as a board member on Mentoring Alliance Singapore, which aims to foster an inclusive mentoring culture in Singapore. He is also currently the Executive Director, at Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association (CARE Singapore).
