Elder Support

Physical Support

We believe in promoting wellness for the elderly.  One way is through encouraging exercise and physical activities. Our activities blend a combination of approaches including stretching, walking, and gaming among others.  Exercise and physical activities have proven benefits for elderly people.  Our goal is to support our clients to make daily tasks and activities easier, and to be as independent as possible.

Cognitive Support

We believe activities may help reduce decline or maintain healthy cognition.  There are many types of activities that help maintain and improve the cognitive skills of elderly individuals.   For example, reading books and magazines, playing games, learning a new skill or hobby, taking up lessons or even teaching and conducting a class.

Emotional Support

Emotional support is important to an elderly person (or anyone) because it is a contributing factor to experiencing good health and a higher level of life satisfaction.  Maintaining linkages with people and the community can support an elderly person’s feeling of connection with the world beyond their own family or social circle.
