It was an incredible night at the Foundation of Rotary Clubs (FRCS) Charity Gala Dinner last Monday! A sincere thank you to all our donors, Rotarians, staff, and everyone who contributed to its success 🌟
FRCS Eldercare and Caregivers Centre (FRCS ECC) turns ONE!! 🥳👏🏻 We celebrated this significant milestone with an open house filled with exciting activities.
The MOU signing between Rotary Club of Singapore East, Rotary Club of Changi and CANVAS took place on on 15th June 2023, Thursday. This partnership aims to help ex-offenders in their rehabilitation journey by keeping them meaningfully engaged through art.
Our residents at ECC have been enjoying weekly traditional desserts and soup after morning exercise, prepared and cooked by volunteers, Frederick and Jackie. Honoured to have Bukit Gombak Mayor Ms Low Yen Ling sharing this goodness with our seniors.
We invited the team at SSO to FRCS Eldercare & Caregivers Centre, where they learnt more about the meaningful work that we do. Mr Chew Ghim Bok, Chairman of FRCS, also presented the cheque to Mr Kenneth Kwok, CEO of SSG.

To usher in the Year of the Rabbit, our seniors wrote Chinese Couplets to express hope and anticipation for good things to come in the Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival.
Musicians from the Teng Ensemble visited the FRCS ECC to perform for our beneficiaries as part of their #TENGGivesBack initiative. They performed nostalgic melodies which the seniors enjoyed immensely.
We held a Donor Appreciation Dinner to recognise the generous contributions for the FRCS House project. Organised by the FRCS House Committee, it was an enjoyable evening of wine, good food and great company.
The FRCS ECC team facilitated a koi painting activity and displayed a wall exhibition of 110 koi at Hillview Community Centre as part of the ‘Bukit Gombak Art Experience’ event.
The Share-a-Pot programme runs in cycles of 12 weeks to facilitate regular monitoring of our participating seniors' fitness levels, and track their progress through the physical, functional and psycho-social assessments.
The FRCS House Committee organised an Exclusive Whisky Cask Fundraising Project: Spirit of Giving 2022 sponsored by District Governor RY2020-2021 Rajahmohan Munisamy & Leonica Brocal.
Proceeds from the Rotary Flag Day will be channeled towards the FRCS ECC, Youths-at-Risk as well as the funding and implementation of service projects by our foundation, Rotary Clubs, Interact and Rotaract Clubs in Singapore.
FRCS Eldercare and Caregivers Centre: Official Opening & Open House
On 25 June 2022, Mayor Low Yen Ling, our Guest-of-Honour, unveiled the plaque which marks the official launch of the FRCS ECC located at Bukit Batok West Avenue 5.
The Rotary Club of Singapore has partnered with Yishun Health’s community health program. Share-a-Pot @ HOME seeks to bring the program to the beneficiaries to their homes while abiding by safe management measures.
FRCS FSC and SG Cares VC @ Clementi supported a joint project by the Rotary Club of Singapore East, Rotary Club of Tanjong Pagar, and Go With the Flow. Rotarians and volunteers sorted and packed 240 Care Packages, which was then redistributed to Beneficiaries.
Rotary Happiness Fund – The Rotaract Club of Singapore partnered with Party Mojo, SIT Sign Language Club and SA Deaf to host an hour of mini games and a terrarium workshop with 15 beneficiaries from SA Deaf.

The Rotaract Club of Singapore held a X'mas Event for 25 elderly residents of Ling Kwang Home where they reminisce about the old days and participated in a colouring contest and lucky draw segment.
The Flag Day Fundraising initiative was Chaired by Jona Pang. This year our Digital Marketing and additional efforts did well to deliver a FRCS record of $107,000.

Rotary Club of Singapore in collaboration with FRCS raised funds to build a new kitchen for Willing Hearts to double their capacity to serve the rising number of food-insecure persons in Singapore to 20,000 meals a day.
