SSO-FRCS Joint Fundraising Concert
Serenades with Andrew Litton & Chloë Hanslip
It’s a wrap! On 25th February 2022, we held our inaugural SSO-FRCS Joint Fundraising Concert: Serenades with Andrew Litton and Chloë Hanslip. We are thankful to all our benefactors for supporting us in this event presented by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. It was a celebration of peace as Rotarians commemorated World Understanding and Peace Day in the same week.
In the spirit of love and appreciation, your contributions will help our FRCS Eldercare & Caregivers Centre in supporting our senior citizens, as well as allowing the SSO to continue bringing memorable musical experiences to the community.
Our share of the proceeds from this concert will be directed to our newly set up FRCS Eldercare & Caregivers Centre (FRCS ECC) in Bukit Batok Avenue 5. It aims to serve 2500 senior residents within the area, through the provision of a customised space for them to interact, socialise, and gain a sense of belonging within the community.
Marking the end of our first fundraising event with Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Mr Chew Ghim Bok (Chairman, Foundation of Rotary Clubs Singapore) presented the $50,000 mock cheque to Mr Chng Hak-Peng (CEO, Singapore Symphony Group), representing the beneficiary. Tokens of appreciation were also presented to the lovely team at SSO.
Once again, we would like to thank our benefactors for making this possible. We look forward to making next year’s concert a bigger success!
