The MOU signing between Rotary Club of Singapore East, Rotary Club of Changi and CANVAS took place on on 15th June 2023, Thursday. This partnership aims to help ex-offenders in their rehabilitation journey by keeping them meaningfully engaged through art.

 

The event also saw the launch of the ‘Artist with Prisons experiences’ (APEX) development fund. It will be used for training, running of art exhibitions and other art-related expenses to provide more opportunities for ex-offender artists to achieve their creative potential and reach a wider audience, including at an international level.

 

With the continued strong support from community partners, we can support ex-offenders in staying crime-free or drug-free in the community over a longer period.
